7th & 8th Grade

7th Grade & 8th Grade

Our 7th and 8th grade students continue to build on mathematical concepts using both textbook exercises and games designed to enhance understanding. They expand their knowledge of life, earth and physical sciences; increase their facility with technology; and develop critical thinking skills. Students read a wide range of literature and hone their analytical and creative writing skills; engage in projects that bring social studies to life; and receive music and art instruction.

Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.”
