Lenten Promise

On Ash Wednesday our 5th-8th graders wrote their Lenten promise describing two distinct actions. One is an act that they will do, such as playing with a younger sibling every day. The second act is a sacrifice, something they will give up such as limiting screen time or not eating chocolate.

Every Monday, students write in their journal, reflecting on their Lenten promise.  If they were successful, how did they do it? If not, what can they do differently in the coming week.  Students are living their faith by reviewing and renewing their Lenten Promise.

With joy,
