In 2013, a generous parishioner established the St. Cecilia Catholic School Patrons’ Endowment with a charter (mission) to provide permanent and significant financial support for the long-term sustainability of our school. Our SCCS Patron’s Endowment is administered by the Fulcrum Foundation and provides annual investment income for the school.
In 2018, a small group of parishioners donated additional funds to the Endowment as part of a matching-contribution from a very generous school/parish family: these funds increased the total proceeds in our SCCS Patrons’ Endowment 5 times (5x).
Each year, SCCS receives a distribution of funds from the Endowment that are a critical supplement to the school’s operating budget. This income also enables us to provide tuition assistance to those families who would like a Catholic education at SCCS.
As our school continues to grow and impact more families by providing an education rich in academics and rooted in faith, it is crucial that we maintain a healthy annual budget. The SCCS Patrons’ Endowment plays a vital role in our fiscal health, and it must increase as our school expands.
In celebration of our 20th Year Anniversary, we will formally ask all school families and parishioners to consider contributing to our SCCS Patrons’ Endowment in the coming year. This may also present an end-of-year opportunity for 2021 charitable giving for tax purposes.
Donating to our SCCS Patrons’ Endowment profoundly impacts the health and vibrancy of our wonderful school.
With enthusiasm and gratitude,
