Grace Notes for May 11

Mother Earth

To celebrate Earth Day our 1st , 2nd and 3rd graders cleaned up Sakai Park, right
next to our school campus. They scoured the trails and grassy areas, joyfully
picking up garbage (with plastic gloves on). The day was sunny and warm,
perfect for being outside.

Teachers mindfully embed Caring for the Earth into our Religion and Science
curriculums across all grade levels. Learning about the environment inspires
students to appreciate it and take care of it.

We wish our mothers,
grandmothers, aunts and teachers
a very Happy Mother’s Day.

With joy and gratitude,
Principal Susan Kilbane
