Grace Notes for August 24

Welcome Back

We welcome new students this school year who recently moved from
out-of-state or out-of-country as well as students who were previously
enrolled in public or private schools nearby. Our youngest learners will join us
for Pre-K to engage in their first school experience.

Our bus will bring 34 students to the island each day. We remain deeply
grateful to three parishioners for their donations 6 years ago which made it
possible to purchase our fabulous yellow school bus, used for daily
transportation and for a variety of field trips.

Bus Driver and parishioner Mike Williams, now in his second-year
driving, brings positive energy and good humor to his role.

As we round the corner of summer’s end, there is great energy afoot in
the hallways and classrooms as teachers and staff prepare for the arrival of
students on Tuesday, September 5th .

We look forward to welcoming 115 students and their families for a
school year filled with faith, learning and joy.
