Grace Notes for February 2nd

Learning and Living our Faith

We begin each week by gathering in a Whole School Prayer Circle. A middle school student leads us in prayer, the pledge and the Schoolwide Learning Expectations movements.

At our January 17th Prayer Circle, I shared Dr. Martin Luther King’s words, “Forgiveness is not an occasional act, it is a constant attitude.”  I asked students what this means and 3rd grader Marco responded, “Martin Luther King is saying that we should forgive all the time.”

During his homily on Friday of that same week, Father Mark said, “We are called to love one another.”

Being part of our school community means learning and living our faith together.

With joy and gratitude,
Principal Susan Kilbane
