Grace Notes for September 14

Living Our Faith

Our entire school staff kicked off the year with a mini field trip to see the
newly installed troll at Sakai Park. Pia the Peacekeeper was designed by
Danish artist Thomas Dambo, created entirely out of recycled wood.
As we walked together on a gorgeous sunny morning and reconnected, there
was a feeling of great joy. We have deep respect and care for one another.
Sharing a mission is a real connector!
Later that day, teachers and I met to plan and prepare for the opening of
school. As always, our first act was to develop NORMS to guide our work. We
committed to the following:

1. ASSUME BEST INTENTIONS
2. BE ENGAGED
3. HAVE FUN

In short, we live our faith, every single day.
